Default Wanting Bigger Capacity Tank

hello All advise needed

i have a 2009 883 (not custom or low just the normal one)
i have the 3.3 gallon peanut tank
and i am looking to get a bigger tank something from 4.7 Gallon to Bigger

i have been on various tank building sites and asked the same question
"Will it fit my bike?"

they always answer Yes but then they say they dont do it for EFI

ARGH!!!!

please help as a 100 mile tank is too small for me

thanks

I just put a 4.5 gallon tank from a 2005 custom on my 2006 XL883 that had the 3.3 gallon peanut tank. I went from hitting reserve at about 125 miles to hitting reserve now at about 175 or so. Any 4.5 gallon tank from a 2007 and up custom will be a bolt on tank for you. Anything else will require fabrications.

Use the 4.5 gal tank off an 883 SuperLow. Fits perfect, is set up for EFI.
