Default Replacing rear turn signal with front

Hey guys! I ride a 93 883 sportster. Rookie question, would it be possible to replace a rear turn signal light with a front signal light? I know that the front is dual filament for the running lights, but I wasnt sure if that would be an issue.

Requires a re-wire is all... need to tap into the taillite [green] wire to send to the Running lites of the new Signals...
Not a Trivial Task... But, it ain't nearly Warm here in my part of the Rhubarb Patch... so We Gots Time!!!

The running lights only function for the front turn signals and taillight. The rear turn signals only have one wire and no running lights.

I was just concerned if it would be possible to use a dual filament turn signal that wouldnt function as a running light.

Oh... Ithought you wanted both Running and Turns... Will Not be a Problem to Put dual filament Unit right on, and wire accordingly... [only use one of the two wires... the Larger Filament I believe] ... or If you have damaged single Filament Turn Signal Unit... the Bulb holder can be swapped...

Yes, you can. I did it on my 92. The only difference is the bulb socket--it has provisions for both filaments. I operate mine as added running lights. I ring terminal connected the running light wires to a stud and nut on a relay that is on with the ignition. The wire for the flashing filament is wired the same as it was before the swap. I used red lenses rather than amber.
