HCC 16" narrows on 1 1/2" risers. I love em. I went from drag bars to this and have no more pain in my shoulders. They are very comfortable. I am 5'-9" and run a stock/thin seat and have the lowering brackets on the rear. I also got my cables through HCC, minus the clutch cable cause I switched to a foot clutch.

You "searched for two days"???? You must not have tried using a search engine (Google). These are just a few from only the first page... Flanders, Licks, Griese Metalworks, Cruiser Customizing, Debrix, etc. There are literally thousands of places where you can get these.

Here are my new black 16'' Apes with Burly brand kit. I got my apes at a vendor while at the drags in Rockingham. Alloutwarcycles.com, great prices. These are not on his site though. They remind me of the HD mini style, just larger of course.

Burly clutch cable is insanely long. Had to zip tie everything pretty good. Clutch was giving issues with when to release and grab. While I stopped by a dealer I had them fix it since I had no tools and was out riding. Still needs to be loosened a bit. Clutch is tough to engage and still doesnt grab like it did before.

Also painted the AC today with the textured HD paint.

Here are the pics. Ill get better ones later. Wanting to take to a nice scenic spot.

Did some playing around on photobucket

I might sell these Apes and buy some Biltwell Trackers?? I like the apes, but I gotta admit I love the way the stock IRON and the 48's look with that classic bar.. I think the Tracker will give mine kinda that look.. Oh Yeah and I am getting rid of the whitewalls before summer too..

They look like Maxxis Classics...no longer available. Maxxis stopped making street bike tires a few years ago. Avon & Dunlop both make "wide" white walls in the size we need but neither look as cool as the Maxxis Classic.

For those with 16" Narrow apes... I just ordered some and am having second thoughts for two reasons. First is reach, I'm 5'8 and am going to be on an 07 Nightster, wondering if I sould have just got 14". 2nd is TX laws, which I looked up after the fact an these are obviously not legal. Anyone live in TX (Houston) have apes for a long period have problems with cops or inspection people? Thanks for the input. I just went 16" because knowing me after a while with 12 or 14" I would just want to get the full look.
