Are there any riders who care how the bikes handle?
Or starts and runs ? (every where , not just wfo)

All I see is "bolt-on stuff,
I/E..change the "seat , put on stupid fenders ( that splatter you with road stuff)
change this, change that .all without regard to rideability ..Just "look good".
I say
"damn the slam " ..makes the bike scrape on little bumps..
Also hafta buy a shorter jiffy-stand..

I may be in the wrong forum ..
I wanted to see what real riders do ..not just who spent the $$ on aftermarket stuff..
..
OK , over rant ..I will be quiet, and go somewhere else
If you're looking for handling and performance over looks/style, BOY DID YOU BUY THE WRONG BIKE!
Harley is ALL about image. Handling and performance are at the very bottom of the "design criteria" list. Most people that own them seem to be fine with this. I myself struggle greatly with it.

Hey, what he said must be true, since none of you girls disputed what he said. You just went right along as if it were true. He he!

Says a lot about your group.

Personally, performance is king and bling is a waste of cash.
But that's just how I roll.

Interesting. With that logic, since you didn't dispute my claim, you must have itty bitty "girls" legs.

Or you don't even have a Harley cuz you didn't answer that question either.

Or maybe you have to have a big bad Harley BT, and call Sporty riders "girls" in order to compensate for some other "shortcoming."

My group? Man, you just can't stop yourself, can you? That low self esteem kicks in and you have to fight back against the Sporty forum to get wood. Listen, the OP's post was easy to ignore as just another "real biker" thread, so no need to advance it. But you made it a point to insult our entire community with your comments. Go troll somewhere else.

Yes, chief, we know exactly how you roll: On a couch, compensating for your other shortcomings. But look on the bright side...4742 more posts and you'll qualify for the 10k virtual miles award. 4741 after you reply to me, 'cause you know YOU CAN'T STOP YOURSELF.

"Flying over Nam, cuz you was drafted and forced to, don't make you a man.
I did the Marine Corps blah, blah, blah,....... so what?
You still ride a girls bike and start threads about nobody in this whole forum thinks smart like yourself. You call that a man?"

I knew a couple of girls, that claimed to do the whole football squad..
However , I never knew anyone that did the whole Marine corps,,
Wow !!

You were in the Corp? Didn't learn much did you, if you even were. Nobody in the Navy was ever drafted, and even if they were, they sure as hell weren't a pilot. That takes a little more than the two year of service required by the draft.
Outside of some Army Warrant Officers flying choppers in Nam, nobody is a 'drafted' pilot in any branch of the military.
That was a stupid, disrespectful thing to say about anyone who ever put on the uniform. But I suspect you're more of a Troll that an retired Marine.

I'm an old Hot Rodder myself. I like Chrome on my car and I like it to be loud. As for my Sportster. " It has lots of chrome and it's loud, and If I wanted something that handled well,,,,,,,,,well I wouldn't have bought a Harley Davidson !!! "
