This is my bike and in 1975 I entered it into shows around S. Florida. Von Dutch was into one of his trysts and stated that his work should last forever and gave up pin striping (I do not know for how long). Ken Howard was an accomplished gun smith and made several notable TV guns for the westerners in the early days. I knew him when he was working with Bud Ekins. You would know Bud as they had one of the largest motorcycle collections and rented stuff to the movie studios. Bud also did a little stunt riding himself. For your viewing interests. A long time friend Tony Carlini form Detroit painted the tank & fender, a local painted the frame, Kenny engraved the bike, and I fabricated and assembled the bike in our new place, the old Cranes Machine Shop on Dixie Hwy, Hallandale, FL. Time: late 1974 to 1975. The bike was bought new in late 1974 and is a 1975 FX SuperGlide. It costs me $3, 200 if my memory serves me correctly
