Forty-Eight = 2010 Best Production Model
According to Cycle Source Magazine in it's January Issue:
"Harley-Davidson has been doing some pretty wicked little bikes out of the Sportster line but maybe none will destroy the girl's bike myth better than the Forty-Eight. By taking a page from the aftermarket, Harley has added in features like PA deer killer frpnt wheel, a slammed suspension and the namesake, a classic 2.1 gallon "peanut" fuel tank reflective of sheet metal of their heritage. It also has some very uncharacteristic tricks as far as Harley goes such as under-mounted mirrors and a side mount license plate. For all this, we are happy to name the Forty-Eight as 2010 Cycle Source Reader's Production Model of the year!"
