i was looking at the HD Rallyrunner. i go 50miles each way to work and the stock seat is just killing me and i'd also like to get something so my gurl can ride on the back. it doesn't have to be one piece and i've also heard of a guy in town that will cut open my stitches and put a memory gel insert in there, same stuff the surgeons use for surgery i guess lol. and i'd hafta add a the passenger pillion pad which doesn't look bad. just would like to hear some opinions and why u went that route or what you've heard. thanks

Do what I did. My wife wanted to ride on the back of mine too until I put some V & H Shortshots on that bad boy. Then... OMG...

 

I had a Corbin with a detachable backrest on my Sporty. The girl was comfy, I was happy and the backrest pops off and your stock seat pop on in minutes for that solo look!

 

I have a '07 XL883R seat for mine. *It has s nice vintage look and is alot more comfortable than the stock seat. *I am actually selling it if anyone needs it, I am swapping to a Bates style seat.

I would jsut get teh HD passenger pillon that is made of your bike and be done. it will look better than a 2up seat, can come right off and cost less.

 

well i do love the look of the passenger pillion but my *** is killin me with the stock seat. so i either gotta replace the solo seat also or get it restitched with a gel insert.
