Default Passenger pegs

Does anyone have an idea or a picture of DIY passenger pegs? I want a set but hate how big the HD ones are, plus I don't want to spend that kind of money on something that will only be used to taxi my "dates" back to my place at the end of the night. If you get my drift . I would like to be able to take them off easily too. Any help would be great.

04 and up you need mounts and pegs, because of the way they are designed, I would be skeptical of trying to fab up anything. It could either look bad or not be safe. I got my mounts from E-bay for $65 in chrome, and just used my old pegs from my mid mounts after I switched to forwards.

Nice. I guess I'll have to look into fabing up something. Ghetto style is cool with me.

You could just get some long eye bolts. Not sure on the thread size.

I did 6" eye bolts and spacers so they would run out of room and tighten in the upper slot of the rear footpeg mount. Also - on the swing arm is a (more rear) set. Each side has a 3/4" beam clamp tightened to the swingarm with (2) 3/4" nuts and a 3/4" by 5" bolt. And what you could do is keep the beam clamp on the swingarm all the time and just remove the protruding bolt when you want. I keep mine on to switch up positions. Each style will cost you about $5 to do.
