Default Passenger seat suggestions for the gf

I'm looking for suggestions from you guys on passenger seats for my girlfriend. The problem is in 3 years she has only been on the bike once. We are both off next Friday and she suggested we go for a ride so now I'm scrambling to find a seat. I have an 06 883c and currently use the HD low profile solo seat. I do not want to put on the stock seat it's way too uncomfortable for both of us. I do not want to spend alot of money right now because it may be another 3 years before she gets back on it. I've searched and searched for my options so any help from you guys would be great. We won't ride very far our destination will probably be only an hour away.

What are your guys opinions on the phanton pads or other sunction cup pads? How uncomfortable are they?

Thanks guys..

If she rides for an hour once every six years, just roll up a towel and she can sit on the fender.

once every 3 years?? The towel idea makes good sense to me.

other options would be to take the car, or find a different girlfriend.

As far as I know, there's no such thing as an cheap, comfortable seat.

Suction cup seats are not really safe, and are also not legal. At least here in Florida.

Take stock seat and get it reupholstered so it fits you both better? It's still probably not worth it unless she plans on riding with you more often. Maybe someone local can lend you a Sundowner or similar just for the night.

Have her pay for the new seat. Might make her want to get her moneys worth.
If not you'll have a free seat for the next one.

One or two hours every 3 years, I think I would just deal with the stock seat.

Good luck and have a good trip.

I went with the Sundowner because the stock seat wouldn't cut it. But if its only for 1 hour ride, why not stick it out with the stock seat. Better than a towel...LOL
