I cant find the answer online and no mechanics at the dealer will give ya a striaght aanswer.

i wanna buy some wheels off a fellow meber of the forums here:

i have a 2005 sportster has the stock aluminum spoke wheels on it 3/4 bearings up front 1 inch in the rear im intrested in buying lace spoke wheels for it ive found a set off a 2000 FXDX 16" rear, 19" front with 3/4" sealed bearings.

can i use these wheels on my bike and what would i need to make them work?

 

also the bike they came off of is a narrow glide.

 

You'll have to change the rear wheel bearings to 1", and depending on the wheel hubs on the new wheels, you may need some different size axle spacers.

 

The front "should" be a direct swap, they both have the same front end. The rear, I'm not sure.
