Default Before and After

In Dec '09 I bought my 1st Harley, a stock '06 XL1200C, got a great deal and it only had 5300 miles on it. I rode it for the next year, lurked around here and elsewhere on the web, researched, and figured out what I wanted to do. After putting on just over 18,000 miles last year I went to work on it in my garage this past winter and this spring a different version rolled out and I'm really enjoying spring on her! The list-

chopped the rear fender
LowBrow Customs tail/brake light
Nightster stop/turn/tail conversion
Burly 10.5 rear shocks
homebuilt solo seat
removed upper belt guard
5.5" straight risers
25.5" drag bars
inverted stock mirrors
removed front fender
removed fork tube reflectors
removed 4.5 gallon tank
installed 3.3 peanut with custom paint
installed Joker Machine speedo bracket
SEII slip-ons

Before-

After-

The tank was done by a good friend of mine that has paint for a long time in the manufacturing sector, but he's never tried a custom paint job on a tank before. All things considered, I love it! He's not happy with the flames on the side of the tank and wants to re-do it along with making the rest of my tins match, but that will have to wait until next winter, it's riding season!!

Last, but definitely not least I'd like to thank the folks that share their info here, I lurked and researched, found answers and inspiration that helped me with this. She's got a ways to go, but thanks for helping me get to this point!!

Looked good both way and I like it now, but the seat does not go with the bike at all, but to each his own.

Yea, ditch the seat. It doesn't match the bike, and, it looks like it doesn't fit very well all around. Otherwise, bike looks fine.

I love what you did to your bike! Did you lower the front end as well? I have the Burly slammer kit but only lowered the rear.

Also, is that the Joker Machine speedo relocation?
