Isn't there a better solution to the speedometer, rather than putting it up so high??? It certainly looks out of place up there.

This might be closer to what you want. 8" risers and stock iron bars. speedo off to the side, I've tried apes, and z bars but I like this the best. Handles great and is super comfy all day.

Beaner, I'm glad you found that thread!!! That I like very much!!! May I ask where you found your risers?

I hope I can find the same bars but chrome.

Would you, by any chance, have a picture from where you seat?

Also, did you keep the indicator lights? Did you have to change any cables?

Couldn't tell you, the snow hasn't melted yet. The seating position is very comfortable though.

I rode with 9.5" risers and a drag bar last season and the handling was great.

I'm sure there are hundreds of ways to mount the speedo. I like it up top so I can see it when I'm wearing my full-face helmet.

the risers I found off a forum, they are old and kinda rusty, I think biltwell has some bars called trackers that are very similar. I found a great spot for the dummy lights in between the top riser. They actually snap inbetween the mounting points for the eyebrow. Works great like they were meant to go there and they haven't fallen off in 5k. Here is the best picture I have but i was squished up closer to the tank than normal im about 5'9" to give some perspective. Name: halloween2010020.jpg
