Here is a list of what I will be getting for my 06 1200c.

Total $1,010.80
And Labor $1,110.80 [8D]

That might be extreme, but unless you do the installation yourself (or have friends that can help) I've seen cases where the labor costs are as much as the cost of the parts..

But it sounds like a good plan, be sure and take pictures once everything is completed.....

Hey, you forgot to add a Motherwell solo rack..they look a lot better than the HD's and are functional too.

Some fine choices you made there Dr C. I have most of what you have on the list. Let me tell ya, most of that you can do yourself. The steel braided cables are a bit pricey and labor isnt cheap on them either. The dealership wanted as much for labor as the cost of the cables. I did the brake lines and clutch myself. I had the dealer do the throttle and idle because I didn't feel like dealing with learning something new. Good luck.

Before spring:
New Tires
New Battery ( same battery that came with the bike when it was new)
New sparkpugs
New sparkplug Wires
New air filter
Rejetting of the Carb
Rims going in for cleaning and then clear coated
Replace the spocket cover
Lastly new oil it will need it after the winter storage

Ok that was a pretty boring list of stuff. I want to give it TLC and try to keep it as stock as possible.

Its a start, I have to watch out because I dont want to get devorced over it.
I could think of a tons of more stuff.... but I will have to wait. I went with the obvious and the basic needs.

Yup, Stage 1 is the best for performance vs. cost..., adds HP, looks, sound, responce, etc.. You didn't mention a re-jet, needed if you have the carb. I've had mine 5 years and still added some this summer, always tinkering. Lattest is the rear blinker, brake, running light module I pluged in under the seat, Really helps at night and rear visibility.
