Default Tire pressure

What amount of pressure are yall run in your tires? I know this seems like a dumb question. I got my bike back in May and have never checked the pressure til now. My wives bike got both new tires back in May. The fronts on both is Dunlop D402F. My back is a Avon MT90B16 &4H and her rear is a Dunlop D402. All the tires are telling the max load at 40 psi (cold). If I need them a 40 psi then they are all low.

I run 36 front, 40 rear in both of my bikes.

You really need to keep a better check on your tire pressure other than every 6 months. Weekly is preferred.

I run between what the owners manual says and the amount stamped on the tire. For my bike, it's about 38 in the rear and 36 in the front.

I usually run 38 in the front and 40 in the rear. Sometimes I like to drop the front down a lb for a more comfortable ride.....

Owners manual for 05 Sportster says 30 front, 36 rear. I run both 2 lbs over that.

30 Front - 38 Rear - I called Dunlop and that is what they recommended for my bike (2007 883 low).

I check my tires pressure weekly and I always use what the user manual recommends: 30PSI Front & 36PSI Rear.
