Only thing to keep in mind is that if you have a detachable luggage rack or a back rest adding that bracket will make it a bit harder to hook those attachments on since the groves get pushed out a bit.

I don't think it's a huge problem but may need to put some elbow grease to bend the hooks outwards a bit.

Thank you so much for the pics. I am sure this is what I will buy for my friend. She will love the thought of riding now with out back pain.

It looks like your bolts on the siderails have been changed out for quick disconnects like for a luggage rack..If, so is it a problem connecting because of the brackets for the backrest.

The bolts were changed out for a quick disconnect backrest, The passenger backrest has to be bent out a little to get back on the bike and the bolts, it make the bolts about 1\8" wider on both sides.
