Will some one please explain to me the difference between the Screamin Eagle Pro EFI race tunner and the race fueler.

I have on order a 2007 XL1200C and I want to put on vance and Hines HS slip ons and a stage one A/C.

The dealer said that I had to re-map. OK no prob.

He recommended the efi race tunner or the power commander. He said that he liked the race tunner better ($100 more I'd like it better if I was selling it too)

He gave no mention of the race fueler. All I want to do is make the bike sound good and maybe perform a little better. If I was looking for big HP or TQ numbers or fast speeds I would have keep the crotch rocket. Someone please help.

 

ive heard the race tuner is better than the power commander..i dont know what the difference is between the 2 of them.you might be able to get away with just installing pipes and nothing else..also if thats all you plann on doing to the bike performace wise you should just have the dealer re-map it for you..the race tuner is more or less a do it yourself device that you can hook up a computer to..if you do it yourself be careful that you put the correct map in..

 

The race tuner allows you to adjust more things. If you buy it from a place that sells parts for 20% off, then you almost make the price difference disappear.

 

The dealer told me that harley no longer offered downloads of fuel maps for the 07 sporty and the i had to do it with the race tuner.

I'm just wondering if anyone has a fueler and what they thought.
