What's the smallest Amp Battery you can run?
I have a custom battery box that is for a smaller battery for a sportster. The battery box is from LED SLED Customs. It does not fit the stock HD battery which is a 12 volt 18 amp battery. A battery that fits is a high performance 12 volt 12 amp battery. My question is what is the minimum amp needed to run on a sportster? My sportster is a 2003 883xl, the only electronics on it will be turn signals break, headlight.

The standard Sporty battery is 12V - 12Ah with typically ~220CCA

Oh it's 12v 12amp great then the battery I found will. Work great!

Yeah an It takes all my batteries got to start my 1200 It seems

Batteries only start the motor. Once it starts the current running everything is of the alternator.
