I am going to replace it is I need to be able to throw a bitch on the back. That should be the post of the year LOL!

Anyways the HD solo reasr sear is not all that differant looking from the stock Nightster seat, but feels a ton better. I was going to get the nightster seat for my XL50 till I sat on one and then get the reach solo instead.

I put a Mustang daytripper on my Iron and it did make a difference, I think both the shape and the material were a great improvement over the stock seat. I went with the one for the larger 4.5gallon(?) tank to get that space inbetween like that.
But, I felt more of a difference when I changed out the fork springs for Progressives, and the shocks for 12" air shocks! It was a new bike after that! Bridge seams, ruts, etc are no match for the air shocks. I live on a bumpy gravel road and stock I had to stand to get down my road at spots, but no more.

Frank, do you sit any higher or further back than stock? It's gotta be more comfortable too, eh?

a board with nails in it would be more comfortable than the stock Iron seat...

That Mustang Daytripper looks really nice.

I bought a Mustang Vintage Solo 12.5 and can't say enough good things about it.

I am running the stock seat, had the bike for over 2 years now and it isn't that bad after it broke in. And I don't need the 2 up seat. The Bitch has her own bike.

It sits you up a little higher, but I don't notice it anymore.

Yeah I'm sure the girls are standing in line for you. Get some manners.

For the question, I took my seat and sent to Mean City who put in a gel pad for $60.00. He added a new cover with ostrich but I'm not sure you can see that in my photo. I love me seat. Have ridden lots of miles with the gel pad. Before that at 75 miles my butt was done. Lots of options. Heard good stuff on Mustang but Mean City was cheaper option.

Every time I see a nightster seat I get jealous. My 48 seat makes me feel like every hair on my *** is getting pulled out after about 2 hours of riding. Sorry but it's true and all of you 48 riders know it

Mustang seats seem to be pretty popular on these boards. I have never road with one, but they sure feel nice just sitting on them.
Check out the Saddleman too.
