C&C Seats
I bought a 2009 Sportster 1200 Low with 770 miles at an incredible price. It is stock except for the Rush slip-ons, the quietest ones, which are too loud. Going to put the stock mufflers back on at the 1,000 mile service.
The stock seat is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. More uncomfortable than seats on my Yamaha vintage race bikes.
So, after much research I bought a C&C Lo-Pro dual seat. The worst thing about the stock seat is the radical step between the front and passenger seat., it really bothers me. I hope the Lo-Pro with the gradual curved rise to the passenger seat will not have the same effect.
But, my question is whether or not anyone has any experience with these C&C seats.

I have a lopro on my Iron 883. It looks very nice, the quality is pretty good, but it's awful. I took it off and put the stock seat back on. My *** was so beat up and bruised (HEY NOW!) from my daily commute that it didn't have time to heal overnight or between shifts and I was in constant discomfort. I got the gel pads too.
I think that the lopro would have been fine for 10-15 minute rides, or maybe a 1/2 hour ride once or twice a week, but not for a daily 30 minute commute day in and day out. It looks great, but my *** could not take it.

i have the lo pro solo on my 03 sporty and love the look and much more comfortable than stock. I commute from Pasadena area to Orange County which is 70 miles a day. My bike is the old frame mounted motor and the seat makes a big difference. Plus, C&C has great customer service. They let me take the lo pro solo for a ride before I bought it. Took a week before I picked it up.

If it's worse than the stock seat, I am in big trouble. Hopefully, I'll be able to return it.
the stock seat is uncomfortable, and the C&C is more comfortable. But the stock seat doesn't make my *** bruise or feel sore after a 30 minute commute, and the C&C does.
I suppose it would be different with one of their less-low profile seats?

C&C seats are sweet looking and from what I hear are made good. Now why in the hell do you want to put the crappy stck mufflers back on? Slip on's too loud-really??? I have open pipes on my XL50 and don't think they are all that loud and when I get on my 1200C with Rush slip on's it sounds like it's not running LOL!
