Question Should I be concerned?

2009, 1200 low. Had the dealership install new header pipes along with SE slip-ons and intake. Remap also performed. Work was done only about 400 miles ago. Bike runs great and I love the extra sound. I start the bike up (after it sat for 4-5 days) and was surprised by a "back fire" while giving a little throttle about 15 seconds into warming it up. This has occurred 3 consecutive days now from a cold start. Also, hearing minor "popping" at times decelerating (usually downhill.) Like I said bike runs great. Gas mileage seems to be right where it should be. Am I experiencing a "break in" period with the new exhaust? Thoughts?

There will always be "minor" popping when you get a lot thats when it should be a real concern.

Default No Biggie?

MINOR popping on decel MIGHT be considered acceptable but backfiring would not be!(IMHO) I would get a conversation going with the dealer to make way for any changes YOU would want.

While it's warmng up, don't blip the throttle...the ecm is in closed loop mode. Pop on decel can be eliminated with a good tuner, such as Thundermax (which I have), Power Commander, etc.

Default V&H Fuelpak

I used a V&H Fuelpak when I swapped out mufflers only. I had excessive popping on decel and the fuelpak fixed it. Keep in mind that the rest of the bike was stock (no remapping).
