Default DIY rear seat bag ideas? No sissy bar

Hi everyone,

I have a 2004 Sportster Custom and I'm looking for ideas on how I can attach a bag to the rear seat for overnight trips. Has anyone come up with something that isn't permanent and doesn't require a sissy bar? I was thinking some kind of duffel bag with just some straps running under the seat and over the top of it might work but I wanted to check in and see if anyone's had a better idea.

Thanks!

I'm a fan of Saddlemen products. Check some of these out --> http://www.saddlemen.com/store/index...th=239_247_249

I've got a Saddlemen roll bag that I just strap to my luggage rack. Works great. Easy on easy off.

I have the same set up. How do you mount your bag to the luggage rack?

Lots of anchor points on bottom of my Saddleman, just used a couple of straps. It stays Secure at high speeds and wind. This is my luggage rack.

Have the same one, just chrome. I'll have to try and mount her later.
