Default Oil leakkk!!! Help

hi looking for some help on an oil leak. just changed my oil on my 883 and took her for a ride and when i got back i was looking her over and noticed some oil down around the bottom of the juggs in between the rods. theres a hex bolt by its self there, fairly large anf theres oil leaking from around it, if anyone could help or know a solution and or have have seen this before please any help would be great thanks. the bikes a 95 883 with under 7k on it and its been babied. heres an image of what my motor lookslike, similar.its the bolt at the v-point of the motor where the bottom of the jugs are below the stamped motor info, looks kind of like a freeze plug in a car motor.

Sure it's coming from the bolt? I can't see how this bolt, not leaking before your oil change, is leaking now afterwards....how much oil did you put in? Overfilling could cause an issue.

An overfill will cause oil to drip from the air filter down to that area on your motor.

This. It's likely you are getting some blow-by in the oil filter and it is dripping down to the timing bolt there. I had it happen and it doesn't look like it comes from the filter, but it actually is.

Don't know why the oil change would do it.... maybe coincedence?
My timing bolt will "weep" fluid from time to time as well. Nothing a lil teflon tape does not cure though....
As mentioned above, I only fill my oil tank to the bottom line of the dip stick. This should eliminate the blow by the above folks mention.

Thanks guys for the quick responces. I just put it back together after doing a cluch, tires, paint and some other little things, was down for most of the summer, just didnt have the funds to dump into it, I sure did miss her. So I finaly finished it up and changed the oil. i took her for a ride and just happeded to go over the bike after it might have been leaking before just never noticed it. When i found the oil there i wiped it with a rag and noticed the oil came from around the bolt again little bits at a time. I just never seen this before and was wondering what that bolt was or what was behind it. I know the basics and I'm still learning, thanks again.

It's the timing bolt hole. If you unscrew that, it will give you a clear view of the flywheel. You use a timing let to set the advance on the ignition.

Try using some teflon tape like ride2tires said, or some oil resistant loctite sealer.
