Question rear wheel removal

i'v just bought my first H.D..its a 1977 sportster xl1000... ( custom )... i need to replace the rear tire. which i already have. i'm looking at the bike intimadated. it looks like all i need to do it remove the axel .and maybe the 8 bolts holding the wheel to the brake housing from inside the hub through the spock area.am i right ?

You should just have to loosen the chain tension bolts and remove the axle.

I would think you would just have to to is loosen the chain adjusters and remove the axle.But i haven't seen how ones set up personally.
