I went to start my bike and I barely tapped the start button. It kicked the starter just for a quick hit. Then when I fully pressed the start button it had nothing. It turnwed out I blew the fuse for the solenoid. I was just glad it wasn't the actual solenoid or the starter.

It goes to show, if your fixing something always start at the cheapest fix first

 

Did you happen to notice if all your instrument lights and head/tail lights went out too? I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday, I have no power when the key is turned to ignition, but have power when it's on ACC.

 

I had full power to everything. Lights,blinkers,horn all worked, It just would not do anything when I hit the start button. I looked at the fuses and the one for the solenoid was broke. I replaced it and it works fine now

 

Did you resolve the no power to ING, mine is doing the same thing. Touch the start button and everything goes dead, ACC has power but ING is dead.
