Do the 07 1200 customs come with leads for that battery tender. Mine did. I didn't ask them to put one on so I was wondering if it is a factory installed feature.

 

The lead is also a plug for the heated vest, it is pre-installed in the factory.

 

Did anyone get it with their 06 883? Now that it's about winter time, that reminds me of something else I need from the HD parts counter. [:@]

That is done by the dealer.....

Do any of you see or read it in your Owners Manual (If you have ever really read it).......

well then they must put it on there as soon as they take it out of the crate because mine came with the lead already installed. and i didn't ask for it at all. so it is installed at the factory. i watch them break open my crate and prep my bike. and they did nothing but go over the bike looking for transit damage and check fluids. then started it up.

 

Well, it is good to know then. Same in Canada here, the salesman told me that every new Harley ship to the west coast Canada has the plug installed as they are taken out of the crate. Then they will do the pre-delivery inspection and replace the idle jet from 40 to 42 for smooth idle. You are right, the manual doesn't say it comes with the plug. Is there any chance they pre-installed it for colder weather country? I am just curious Alex

 

my 07 came with the plug. I'm glad I have it !

 

Tell me where to look for it and I'll see if my 07 1200C Florida bike has one on it.
