I got the bracket from DK for the down tubes....realized the cow bell won't fit and didn't like how it would mount so I'm without a horn currently. Have only needed it once since I took it off. 😁 Don't like the beep beep horns still pondering...

If you use the small round horn, it goes between the downtubes....check this LINK

Yes, if you don't want the round horn, the cowbell won't fit up front between the downtubes.

I've seen guys take the horn out of the cowbell and mount it behind the rear cylinder, also have seen them mounted on the swingarm.

I've also seen one person mount the cowbell Under the relocated coil. However, I am not at all sure that the Coil Relo bracket will hold up to that extra weight/leverage/vibration...some thing for the cowbell bracket, not sure how long that would last with the extra vibration.

I mounted my stock sportster 72 horn between the down tubes by not using the chrome cow bell cover and making my own bracket. It's a tight fit but worth it to have the sound of the original horn instead of the smaller cheaper sounding horns. It can be done

Yeah the previous owner has it where the tank mount is. Guess it's ok there for now but I feel it defeats the purpose of the lift since its suppose to leave that space empty.

I believe he put it between the downtubes, not under the backbone/above the rockers.

In the place you see the round horn in the picture here-

I have a Wolo 117db low tone horn between my downtubes if you want it - I will give it to you if you are going to use it. It is louder than the stock horn but is still a beep beep horn. I still have it on the bike but it is not connected to anything since I installed an air horn between the cylinders. Email me if you can use it.

Hey Kevin,
I've got a 98 883. So this whole stock bracket gets removed, correct? (pic 1), for the coil relocation.
And the ignition will be mounted onto this bracket behind the battery (2nd pic?)
Thanks, Jeff

For install instructions of coil & key relo, email us at Support@DKCustomProducts.com and ask for a copy of the 95-03 coil instructions and copy of the F6 instructions. We'll email them to you.

You don't remove the entire bracket in pic 1, and on the 95-03 there are several places to put the key, below is a pic of one of them.

But it is all in the instructions we can email you.

Here's a photo showing a wire tuck with a coil relo on an 04-06 Model Sporty that has a different coil...but the principle of what Parabellum is the same.
