Yea I do have warrantry on it but if its something easy to fix like u said I can do it myself, just trying to the negative side is a pain especially when its inside in a tight spot and so close to the bike I don't want it to spark out on me.
Pull the main fuse then let it set and put it back. It will show you in the owners manual if you don't know where it is out. You won't get sparks from the neg side if you touch the frame , just the positive touching frame will give you sparks

I'd get it checked out under warranty regardless of how simple of a fix it could be. There maybe a underlying problem that'll bite you in the *** later on.
