hey guys i am going to buy some drag bars for my bike i have a 2001 883. I really like the way the custom models that come with drag bars look. What type of drag bar is that? What is the size of the riser? Does anyone have one for sale that came with thier custom sportster that they changed out? What all do i need to buy other than the bars that come with the risers to make this work?

 

If you want to get the same riser as the 03 883 custom, you can get them from the dealer, I believe they still sell them as a kit, upper clamp and lower riser block. I also found the pullback and straight risers that will work for you, click here, they don't look the same as the custom but similar idea. For the dragbar, try this one. You might be able to keep everything include the clutch and throttle cables. You really have to see after you have the bar installed, a lot of time you have to extend the wires and reroute them.

 

I have a Dyna and I used the 1 1/4" drag bars with a Duece style riser which looks really good.

The bars have a slight pullback and the risers have almost 6" of pullback.

The bars are $35.00 here.

The Duece risers are $39.00.

I bought everything from http://kcint.zoovy.com/ and they have many styles of risers if you want some straight ones.

That's what I have. 6" tall riser and dragbar. For the speedometer mounting bracket and top clamp, look for 00-03 sporty custom, I don't have the part numbers here, I will message you later ok.
