Default Rear axle nut torque

Could someone please tell me the torque specs for the rear axle nut on a 2012 883 iron?
My service manual is at home.

Thanks
Barry

Barry, you need to be very careful here, my 2007 manual warns that exceeding 78 ft. lbs. will require new spacers and wheel bearings. 75 ft. lbs is the recommended torque for the 2007.

Go with the torque spec for 2008 and up, which I believe is when they changed to the hollow axles. Earlier years with solid axles used a lower torque spec.

Barry, the reason I suggested caution is that a few weeks ago there was a guy on here who torqued his older one to 100 or so and his wheel would not turn. Good catch cHarlie.

This is the caution for 2007.
