Not much done to it, bunch of simple additions. Engine guard with highway pegs, hd skull pegs for all pegs and shifter, rush slash cut slip ons, skull covers on everything, skull gas cap, and saddlebags. Next things I want are a tuner or xieds, and a sundowner seat.

Yeah I agree, very nice bike. I've always liked the small 21" front wheel customs which is what I got

DoubleTake, do you have standard rake on that front end or what? It looks more "choppey"...

 

Its standard rake. I do have some 10.5" Burly slammer shocks on the rear though. I'm actually thinking about selling the bike. I found a Road King I really like.

Mostly stock so like a million others but I love this bike, it's mine. A year later and I still catch myself staring at it and grinning.

 

My 1986 XLH1100
Most of the mods were made in the the 1980s

* Paint is Jaguar British racing green and 1970s Dodge truck tan. The lettering is also the racing green. It looks almost black.
* Lowered wide sport touring bars
* FXR tank modified to fit the frame.
* SU big twin carb on a short straight shot intake manifold.
* Round air cleaner to replace the oval disaster it came with.
* The seat had to be modified a bit so it "creeps" up on the tank.
* Baloney cut mufflers (Screaming Eagle I think)
* Belt drive replacement kit
* There's an oil cooler on the left side.
* Small windshield
* hoops for leather saddle bags
