Default Dragbar configuration for Sporty 1200L, please read.

I have recieved message from other people these days enquire about my dragbar and parts number.
Here are the parts list, hope it helps your next mod.

1. 6" tall riser 56223-98
2. Lower straight or pullback riser, click here.
3. Dragbar 56558-95.
4. Top clamp 56074-96
5. Speedo bracket 67084-96

For the wiring harness, it should work but you may have to get the dummy light adapter to make it fit on there unless you have a custom model. You may also have to extend the speedo wires for about 2-3 inches. Please also read my other thread.

If you dont mind, I'd like to add to that parts list were you can get most of the same stuff, just alittle cheaper.

Yes, for the risers and handlebars, there are tons of them in the market, make sure you know what you are buying, some of my friends bought the knock off ones on ebay, they are dirt cheap but the chrome starts peeling off after a few years. It's always good to save some $$ for the next mod. Cheers [:-] Alex

128auto, can you measure the width of the center section of those bars for me plaese, I need bars that are around 16" before they curve in,that way I canuse my stock riser and not have the barhit the tank.

Don, 7 1/2 inches in the middle before the bend. I didn't have the HD one, I believe that one is 8 1/2 inces. If you need riser/speedo kit, I am selling one, click here.

Thanks 128 but I (unlike most) want to be lower & hunched more over the tank so the riser kind of defeats the purpose of the drag bars, for me anyway.
That's why I need to have about 16" before it bends back, I have tried it with a broomstick resting one the top clamp and that position feels great to me as long as they bend in somewhat but only at the ends.
I used to have a metric and installed drop bars on it and loved them but I think that's too low for me now.
You know if you get your face that close to the guages you gotta make 'em do somethin!!!

Don, take a look at this thread, Sportin_2007 has a similar handlebar, it has enough clearance I guess, not gonna hit the gas tank. You may ask him what he has.
