Default Nightster battery trickle connect...

Ok... it's been 4 mos since I've connected my trickle charger to my wifes 2009 Nightster. I can't find the 'stupid' connect for the trickle charger. I must be losing my mind. I've connected this trickle charger at least 1/2 doz times (last time I guess toooo long ago).

Can someone remind me where the battery connect is for my trickle charger on my wife's 2009 Nightster? I thought is was near the triple trees...I can't find it. I'm getting old.

Thanks!

My first guess would be under the battery cover....usually those leads are not that long to reach the front of the bike plus all the wire routing you would have to do to get it there. I would check around the battery first. If nothing else, you should be able to see the positive cable hooked to the battery and trace it from there.

OP, while you're in there and you have your tool box handy, check the fuse for the muffler bearings and top off the blinker fluid.

My connector is tucked just under the front edge of the battery cover so I can just grab it out and hook it up without opening the cover.
