Default EFI-to-Carb kit

If anyone's interested, I stumbled across this site that shows a pretty simplistic way to convert from EFI to Carb for sportsters.

That's a pretty wild article. From what it seems like, they do a great job of explaining the whole process.

I would think the ECM would throw a bunch of codes with the removal of the IAC and other sensors.

Nostalgia is my guess. That and being able to fix it on the side of the road.

It is way more likely you will BE ABLE to sort out a carb issue on the side of the road. It is way more likely you will NEED to sort out a carb issue on the side of the road. I'll stick with EFI, thanks.

I'm not saying that carb is better. Someone else asked why someone would do that and I was just offering my thoughts. My bike is EFI and it's staying that way.

Not true on the NEED part.....When's the last time you've seen someone fixing a carb on the side of the road? My carb has not once left me stranded in the 12 years I've owned my bike. Way back in the day, yes, they had issues & may have needed to repair it on the side of the road, but not anytime lately. Some people like EFI & some like carbs.....Me, I'm a carb guy.
