Indicator lights relocated...again
I'm cleaning up my wiring for my springer swap on my 08 Nightster. I was going to eliminate alot of switches & lights but I've decided to keep everything on the bike...a little more challenging.
Here is where I had relocated my indicator lights to a while back.
I'm internally wiring the handlebar wiring so the only wires left out would have been those lights. Plus, I made new risers and that light bezel won't fit the same.
I drilled 5 holes in 11 gauge plate then cut it out with a hole saw and cut a 1" piece of 1.25" od tube
I'm replacing the light bar with colored l.e.d.'s.
Recessed the circle 1/8" and welded it in to that tube then beveled the lip. The hole on the side is where the wires run
Made a little mount out of angle, welded that on & powdercoated it satin black
The back is open but I'll be covering it with this

It fastens through the speedo bucket clamp strap bolt
It ended up looking like a shift light in a drag car but this is actually where I got the idea
little l.e.d. flashlight
Thanks

Yeah. Red=oil (middle), 2 green for turn (left & right), blue=high beam (bottom) and another green for neutral at the top. I tested them all at once and they're ridiculously bright...just like that flash light but when lit individually, like they normally would be they're much more pleasant.
