SuperLow Owners Meeting Place!

Hi all
Has anyone out there changed their battery and oil tank covers to chrome ones? I ordered a set for my GF's 2011 and they were advertised to fit 2004 through 2013 sportsters. When they arrived there was no way the oil tank cover would fit. The Superlow has a notch in the cover that the replacement doesn't have. I have OEM chrome covers on my 07 1200 custom and they do not fit the Superlow. If anyone has found covers to fit, other than OEM,I would appreciate knowing where you got them.
Ride often and ride safe.

Thanks for the reply. However, I have the chrome covers from Harley on my 07 Sportster Custom and they do not fit the 2013 883 Superlow. Same problem as with the aftermarket covers I tried. There isn't a notch that the superlow has on the oil tank cover. The option would be to cut the notch out but that is extreme for a new cover.

Just time to pop a reply here, after reading all the posts (3 hrs!!). I have a 2016 1200 Low T, which I just traded a 2013 softail for, so it's my 2nd Harley.
I have added 48 bars because I couldn't stand the wrist angle of the stock ones. I'd like to get the Loner 2" risers, but they don't seem to have any in stock. I added a Mustang seat and aftermarket (Ebay) quick disconnect sissy bar. I have just added Road King air shocks which make a huge (YOOOGE?) difference in ride and handling over the stock spring holders. I ride solo and two up, so adding air for my passenger helps.
I'm not a typical Low buyer at 5" 10" 190 lbs, when I first test rode it I hated the seating and bars, but I could sense the potential for a lightweight touring machine.
I still need to make some jetting changes, I have a friend with a Dyno, so I will get with him for what EFI box to choose.

I'm itching to go out, fog thinned and it warmed up, I hear US 101 calling my name.
I retired last year, so I ride often, not always very far, my short loop is 24 miles, the long one is to Orick and back, 82 miles, with a couple 180 mile round trips from Crescent City to Eureka every month.
