I usually fill up with 1.6-1.7 gal. I have ran mine out right at 100 miles. Id be hating it if I only got low to mid 30s for mileage.

I've had mine come on at 56, 64 and 90 miles. The last few fill-ups I've gone over 120 miles and no light. Figure out your miles by how many gallons you are putting in and how many miles are on the odometer. Find the fuse or wire for the fuel light and pull and/or cut.

Forgot to mention my 48 is brand new only has 400 miles, still in break in, and I ride on local street only so far, the light comes on exactly at 35 every time, I always refill right after the light comes on, and I put in 1.4 gallons every time, so that's average about 23-25 miles per G, hopefully after break in it will get better.
Any idea if PC V gets better mileage?

It may increase a couple mpgs after break in but theres something wrong. My best tank was 52-53 MPG, theres no way riding style can double your mileage..........theres something wrong.

There is DEFINITELY something WRONG if you are getting mpg in the 20's! Either your leaking fuel or... you MUST be leaking fuel - a really bad remap being the cause for such poor mileage would probably flood the engine out!

Idiot (fuel) lights are seldom accurate and can not be used to determine accurate fuel mileage.

Fill the tank full to the brim.
Reset one of your trip meters to zero miles.
Go for a ~50 mile ride and then stop at a gas station.
Refill the tank to the brim.
Now, divide the mileage shown on the trip meter by the exact number of gallons (including tenths of a gallon) used to refill the tank. That will be your real MPG.

Now, if the first test was done with all city riding, repeat the test above out in the country where you can cruise steady for ~50 miles at 60 mph and see what that MPG number is.

It's Third Grade Math............
