Default Turn Signal Wiring

I recently got a set of Joker Machines LED fork mount turn signals for my front, but I ran into a problem during installation. The default turn signals are 3 wire while the joker machine are only 2. Are these going to be compatible?

ps I don't know dick about wiring

The stock front signals are dual function, running lights and turn signals, the bulbs have dual elements.

Without doing a bunch of messing around with the wiring your better just to exchange them for a three wire dual filament set.

I got the Joker machine rear fender strut mount tail lights that are 2 wire also. the stock are 3 wire. Still trying to figure out how to wire everything up. Did you get these LED'S? http://www.jokermachine.com/itemstre...&Placeholder=0
I did notice this message for the front LED lights from Joker Machine.: IMPORTANT NOTE: If being used as a turn signal, a load equalizer is required to obtain the correct "blink rate".
These are the rear Joker Machine lights I got. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/306-943

The newer bikes don't require load equalizers, you should be ok with the leds blinking alright for the turn signals.

I hope that you will figure out soon cause I was about to order some L.E.D. turn signals from them as well.

Did you contact them for help? Didn't the signals come with instructions?

No instructions with my tail lights. I put a Sparto Tail light on last year also that didn't come with instructions. I wired that up wrong also. Now need to figure out how to make everything tie into each other the right way. I can build things, but when it comes to wiring, I suck at it also! I guess its time to buy a repair manual! I might email Joker Machine this week and see if they have any instructions. Did you find anything yet rhinodog? I will post an answer if I find one or figure it out on my own, ha!

i just bought a 2012 iron and was contemplating the idea of switching all lights to leds, how positive are you that there is no need for load equalizers for blinkers??? anyone???
