Default Headphones ??

Just want to see what headphones guys have been have the most success with riding. I'm not getting speakers for my sporty but like to listen to music especially when riding solo, not being a dick but please don't comment about how you may think its unsafe ... Just looking for brands and types cuz the earbuds I have aren't cutting it.

I've only wore headphones a handful of times and probably won't anymore. I have some Bose earbuds which I just use with my iPod. Without wearing a helmet and having a windshield, I could hear the music really good. I tried it without my windshield on and could hear a thing. Hope that helps.

Also, I could hear plenty of engine noise and noise from around me like cars and what not. The Bose earbuds I have are about $100 and are great. They've even made it through the wash machine a few times.

I don't have experience with these, but I've heard they are great and inexpensive.

IMO these are the best. They are small and you don't have to turn the music up loud to hear it. I have had a pair now for about 3 years and love them.

I too have skullcandy, but whatever kind you get, I'd suggest that you get the kind that let you adjust the volume in the wire. Saves you having to pull your player out of your pocket to adjust the volume.

I just use some earbuds that I picked up but like yet_erp said, the volume on the line is important and so convenience which is what mine has on them.

You will want in the ear head phones rather than the stock iPod type that just perch on the ear. This blocks out background wind noise allowing you to hear music at a lower volume. The cheap sony ones I bought don't sound quite as good as the stock iPod ones listening in silence but sound way better on the bike due to their ability to block wind and exhaust noise. What ever you wear you will need a FF helmet to get the back ground wind noise level down low enough you can hear the phones above 40MPH. IMO they are best on the highway.
