I have thought about that, and I am considering it as well.

This is what I'm thinking. Or just get a R6 fornt wheel and a solid rear wheel from a XLC and it will not look bad at all. The R6 wheel is a sweet looking wheel and will give it that custom look.

Don't listen to haters that know nothing. Sure some and or most projects are a waste of money when it comes to resale, but not all things are about ROI, it's about the joy it gives you, the fun with others and the momories you get from owning it.

as i already have rime and tires for now I am going to try to use the wheels i have. I am running into a wheel bearing issue the ID needs to be 22mm and the OD needs to be 45mm. A stock r6 bearing is super close but the od is to small.

Keep up the good work!! Don't worry about people telling you that you shouldnt do this. If there wasn't peopl like you out there we would still be riding horses instead or riding motorcycles. Ingenuity is what drives this country so wrench on and have fun above all else.

Well I think I found the solution, after a ton of research and a little panic i found that a stock 2009 Yamaha YZ450F front bearing is a super close and with this bearing being pressed into the wheel i might be safer.

I also updated the blog, I think I want to cut down the bars but I think I should wait until its a full roller and the tank is installed, the ipod mount is just going somplace else, I just mounted it there to see if it fit the bars.

I agree that the bars should probably be cut down but I also agree that you should wait, get an idea of the proportions.

Things are looking good and coming together, interested to see how the bearing issue turns out.
