Default What jets would you run?

My bike is a 2003 883. It has a K&N air filter with the back of the stock housing opened up to breath. The exhaust is Basanni Sweepers with short baffles. There is a set of torq cones installed, but not sure if needed. I rejetted to the jet size I was told from the vendor I got the carb kit from. They started to help me then just stopped helping when I asked questions.

What jet size should I be looking at for this bike?

Hello, my jets replaced earlier this week. Rush 2.0, and xlflow added. An old Harley guy suggested that I move up to the next size above stock. New 46 and185. Check the manual, it'll tell the stock size in the 883 - not sure.

I like the way the bike runs, but too little highway time to tell if all is perfect.

For a 1200 yes, but that's a bit big for a 883.

All bikes are a bit different, but I'd start by just going up 1 size (to a #45?) pilot jet and a 170 main jet.
Note: 1 size on the pilot is from a 42 to a 45.

I have a 2000 883 that has SE A/C and SEII pipes on it. It's jetted at a 45 and 170. Recently had it on a WOT dyno run, and the 170 is a little much, but doesn't really play into every day riding. It runs perfect and in tune otherwise. Cruising MPGs are good. Mixture screw is appx. 1 1/8 turns.
