I do as my manual says, front 30 psi always, rear 36 solo, 40 double.

Solo 40-41 Rear + 40 Front
2up 42 Rear + 40 Front

Metzler's ME880 recommended specs for a Sporty
Front (min/max) = 38/42
Rear (min/max) = 40/42

That's great, as long as you're using the stock Dunflop 401 tires. Those pressures could be dangerous if used on most of the popular (better) replacement tires, like the Avon Venom, Metz 880, Dunlop E3's, etc.
