Default 2003 Sportster 883c - 12in Ape Hangers

I bought some 12 inch apes for my 03 sportster and I haven't been able to get them wired or cabled up yet. My clutch cable can reach no problem since I redid that recently and prepared for taller handlebars. Everything else though needs to be changed. Is it worth buying the kit to wire up the bars or not? I know I won't need everything in the kit (clutch cable) so I don't want to waste my money.

I'm pretty confident I can extend the electrical wires with something like this - http://www.realhog.com/detail.cfm?Ca...de&Model_ID=94

But that still leaves the brake line.... and speedo? There's a guy around town who can whip me up the right brake line length I need but I'm thinking about making it myself.

I've done most of my own work so far to the bike so I'd really like to keep that up. Just looking for suggestions and tips and stuff. thanks.

You can buy a lot of wire for $31.99 but then again it's nice to have proper color coded wires. You can make your own brake line using the right Bango fittings and premade length of brake line. I used to get my stuff custom built from Barnetts.
