Flat black 48 Plasti dip

LOL...I had my entire F-150 Line-X'd with Xtra (Kevlar topcoat) and Plasti Dipped an F150 die cast model to match. It turned out pretty well. I even held it out further to get a more textured finish and it worked just like you'd expect. My only other experience is a co-worker did his MR2 t-top trim pieces and I test sprayed a file cabinet to test the peelability aspect and it worked great...just like a peelin' sunburn.

here are some pictures of some of the trim pieces I plasti dipped on my camaro's interior. after i plasti dipped the parts i let them dry over night and then hit them with a few coats of glossy clear coat (i attached a pic of that too). this way the surface would be protected. this plastidip stuff has a tendency to come off easily at times.
the plasti dip will come off even with the glossy clear coat applied over it.
the parts plastidipped are the trim on my steering wheel (it's around the volume control buttons), the trim around the speedometer and the tachometer and the black part around the shifter and the black piece underneath the radio's display.
they're iphone pics so they are not the best.
