Default Drag pipes vs straightshots on 883

I wonder if it would worth the extra money to change my 1 5/8 drag pipes with Vance Hines straightshots. I have lollipops inserted kinda fixing the loss of power and sound is super.
What can I expect from VHS?

You are right. They are 1 3/4 (mixed up with baffles).
What is the added value of the VHS over the drag pipes?

Nothing at all in my opinion. V&h are over priced drag pipes with a 2 1/4" heat shields.

I agree that V&H are pricey but they are nice. I'd like to have some myself. But money and a little worried that they be too loud for the little town I live in. My stock ones just don't have that Harley sound. Even my older sister said that.

Has anyone experience changing from drag pipes to straightshots?
Any article that may be comparing the 2 options?

Thanks

V&H are way over played. There on everything. You have a nice ride, why make it like everyone else's.
