Default Internal to external wiring
I’m switching from a set of internally wired bars to non internally. My question is do I have to take the tank off and unhook the wiring then pull the electrical wiring out of the bars? It seems like the easiest way to get the wires out of the bars.

Which year is your bike? You may not have to go all the way under the tank. Some have connectors closer to the handlebars.
