Default No fuel flow

I have a '99 sporty and last couple days it refuses to start. It just won't turn over so I pulled the plugs and both seem to be just fine. I pulled off my fuel line below the fuel value and attempted to start my bike. Nothing. No flow to the carb or anything. So my question is- is there a crack in my vac line or could this be a problem cause by my carb?

Any help could be greatly appreciated.

Cracked vacuum line,
broken vacuum petcock,
gas level too low for petcock,
petcock screen clogged.

I don't understand it. I got home I changed out of my work clothes grabbed a beer and headed to the garage. Turn the key and it fired right up, I'm so confused. I still need to address the problem because I know something is still wrong. I dont want to be strainded somewhere after I go on a ride or in the middle of no where.

Never fails. This morning the bike fired right up, I went and filled up with gas and drove to work.On my way home it fired right up and ran for about 30 secs and died. I couldn't get it to start again....... Whenver I get my bike home I will take out the battery and recharge it. I don't have a voltage reader but I can buy one this afternoon to check the battery. I don't think its the battery becuase when it wont fire, I can attempt to start it for about 5 mins or so before the battery dies.

I live in the desert and my bike is 13 years old, so I'm guessing my vac line has a crack or leak some where. I haven't had a time to takd off my tank yet and check. I hoping the problems isn't something a 12 pack cant fix beucase then it becomes a serious problem.
I just bought V&H Short Shots and my plan was to install them this weekend. But now it looks as if I have bigger problems I have to tackle.

I don't think it's a fuel issue. More than likely an electrical problem. Mine had similar symptoms. Turned out to be the wire harness connectors in the headlight assembly being lose. I cut the connecting wires one at a time and soldered them together, along with shrink wrapping them. Thus no harness connector pins falling out of the plastic connector.

Pull your headlight assembly apart and push all the wires snug into the connectors, see if it starts right up.

I'm confused. If it won't "turn over" that means the starter is not cranking the motor. Or, do you mean it's turning over but not firing (starting)?

The petcock vacuum line would be the first thing I'd check.
