Does anyone know if there are extended forward
controls available for a sportster 48 or sportster 72?

 

Yup. Just go to the harley davidson website.

 

I didn't read all of your message. I have a 72 and they come with extended controls. The 48 has mid controls but you can get the kit to make them extended.

 

Dont think so, if you after more reach that is.

 

Not sure where you got your info, but I have a 2010
sportster 48 that came with forward controls from
the factory. My husband has a 2012 sportster 72
that has the same forward controls.

we are looking for an "Extended kit" which means
EXTENDING the stock forward controls an additional
2 inches.

 

There was a guy on here that fabricated an extension kit for forward controls. Hopefully he will see this thread.

 

Here are a couple threads you might find interesting. Member Bradley Jones is still around as of last month, but I don't think he's interested in making any more extension kits.

Ya I bought them from the guy that makes them on here...look through the sportster classifieds from a few months ago....bought the 3" and they are amazing
