Wife's new $2,015 2004 Sporty
I got sick of seeing people trying to sell 1990-1997 Sporty's for $3,500 to $4,000 on craigslist.com so I just picked up my wife's new bike yesterday... Crashedtoys.com (5 hours from my home)... I bought my Dyna there 7 years ago ($5,000 under blue book price).
She is now the owner of a 2004 Sportster I purchased for $2,015. I installed new handlebars and left side turn signal lenses, that I had laying around in the garage, last night and took it for a ride. It runs smooth and handles great.
How about some pics?
This is my personal favorite... Can't beat having a turn signal full of weed. LOL

thats true with streetbikes too!! I saw a guy with a R6 with 30,000 miles who wanted $6800
The thing with Craigslist is you have to talk to them and offer them less. Cash does wonders... about 2 months ago i almost bought a 2007 GSXR 600 with i think 4Kmiles guy wanted 5800 i talked him down to $4100 cash... problem was the guy owed money to the bank and wanted me to pay the bike off and then wait for a title....i didnt take the $4100 gamble
