In big manual for Sportsters 86-03 I have read, that is primary oil capacity is 946 ml. But my friend said that he had seen information about 1200 ml for S-model (and R too). I am in doubt...
Whatever... when you fill it up just make sure the bike is upright and it has enough fluid in the chamber to cover the bottom part of the chain. when it does that you will know how much it takes...i would start with a Quart.(946ml)..big difference between that and 1200 ml.
w/a normal fluid replacement, the primary capacity is approximately 32 ounces. A completely dry primary/transmission will hold slightly more (goin' from memory, I think it's an additional 4oz).
There is no difference at all in primary capacity in EVO XLs - be they 883/1200/1200S.
Your bike doesn't hold any more fluid than any other Sporty and they don't hold 32oz when it's done right they only hold 28-29oz, if you put in a full 32oz it can make finding neutral a PITA. Sorry I don't know ml equivalents.

This is exactly what my FSM says. I end up with about a half inch of fluid left in the bottle. The bike has to be sitting strait up and down to get it right.
1986-1992: 24 oz (710 mL) 1993-2003: 32 oz (946 mL)
My 1991 takes exactly 1 quart to reach the overflow screw hole.
On the other hand, my 1991 FSM has one section that says 28oz and another section says 40oz. Obvious, there is some misinformation out there, even coming from the factory.
