Default Recommended tire pressure...

Just put a set of Shinko white walls on my 2012 Forty Eight. I don't see recommended tire pressures on the tires, and I can't find my dang manual. Anyone know the recommended pressure for this bike/tire combo??

The sticker on your frame is only accurate for the OEM stock tires.
E-mail the tire manufacturer with your bike info including approximate weight and use their recommendation.

+1 - What's on the frame or in the Owners Manual is applicable only to the stock tires. Most aftermarket tires run higher pressures than the factory tires. You need to check the tire manufactures recommendation.

My favorite part is that the first question in their FAQ is "how important is proper tire pressure?" and the answer is "VERY!", yet NOWHERE on their site that I could find do they list any pressures for any models.

http://www.shinkotireusa.com/faq.php

Too F'n funny! Except for the whole OP needing the info part.

Do your own research, but I'm running Shinko's on my Sporty @ HD recommended pressures with no issues.
